Operatives of the Pasay City Police Station arrested a most wanted person during a manhunt operation Wednesday morning.
The accused is facing two counts of acts of lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 5(B) of Republic Act No. 7610.
At about 1:30 p.m., personnel of the Station's warrant and subpoena section conducted a manhunt operation and oplan galugad, resulting in the arrest of the 36-year-old accused—identified only by the alias Oy, a resident of Tramo Street, Barangay 46, Pasay City.
The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jehan Batua-Sampao Hassiman of Pasay City Family Court Branch 11 for two counts of acts of lasciviousness, with a recommended bail of P180,000 for each count.
The accused was brought to the Pasay City Police Station custodial facility for proper documentation and disposition. The warrant of arrest will be returned to the issuing court.
