A 26-year-old man was apprehended by personnel the Parañaque City Police Station’s Station Intelligence Section during a targeted entrapment operation late Saturday night after he was caught selling an unlicensed firearm.
The arrested individual was identified by the alias Joeveiynio, a resident of Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City. His companion, identified only by the alias Jason, managed to elude arrest after sensing the presence of the officers and remains at large.
The incident transpired around 11:50 p.m. on 11 July 2026 along Meliton Street, Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City.

During the transaction, the suspect presented an undocumented caliber .38 revolver, prompting the operative to hand over the marked buy-bust money and signal the backup team to close in for the arrest.
Recovered from the suspect were the caliber .38 revolver, one genuine five-hundred-peso bill, and four pieces of one-thousand-peso boodle money used in the sting.
The case has been referred to the Investigation and Detective Management Section for the formal filing of criminal complaints for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, before the City Prosecutor's Office.
