The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) executed a surgical strike against illegal drug distribution in Barangay Olympia on Saturday night, 4 July, resulting in the arresr of a key high-value target together with three accomplices and the seizure of P408,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Confiscated during the operation were approximately 60 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P408,000, along with various drug paraphernalia.
The suspects are currently in police custody and are undergoing documentation for the filing of appropriate charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, before the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.
NCRPO regional director P/Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin lauded the operatives for their tactical success and reiterated that intelligence-led enforcement remains the backbone of the region’s anti-illegal drugs strategy.
“This operation makes one thing clear: NCRPO will not give illegal drug activity any room to breathe,” Aberin said.
“By taking down high‑value targets and cutting off the networks that fuel their trade, we are striking at the very core of the supply chain and reinforcing NCRPO’s commitment to a safer, more secure National Capital Region," the NCRPO chief added.
