Meta has expanded Instagram’s affiliate partnerships to creators in the Philippines, Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Brazil, allowing eligible users to earn commissions by promoting Shopee products through Reels and Feed posts.
The rollout builds on the success of Facebook affiliate partnerships launched in 2025. As of March 2026, more than 5-million creators globally had linked their Facebook accounts to the Shopee Affiliate Program, with nearly 50 percentjoining the program for the first time.
Eligible creators can connect their Shopee affiliate account to their Instagram professional account, tag products in Reels and Feed posts, and earn commissions when viewers complete qualifying purchases on Shopee.
“By bringing affiliate partnerships to Instagram with Shopee, we’re creating more opportunities for creators to earn from the content they love making while helping businesses of all sizes reach new customers,” said Nicole Tan, managing director of Meta Singapore.
