TP bags top sustainability prize

TP in the Philippines has been recognized as Sustainability Impact Company of the Year at the 2026 SOLAIA Awards, highlighting how the business process outsourcing giant has linked growth with workforce development, environmental initiatives, and regional economic expansion.
The award, one of the highest distinctions in the Philippine IT-BPM sector, recognizes organizations that deliver measurable social, environmental and economic impact through responsible business practices.
Expanding footprint
The recognition comes as TP continues to expand its footprint outside Metro Manila, employing nearly 60,000 people across 26 sites nationwide. The company said a significant portion of its workforce is based in provincial locations, supporting job creation and economic activity in regional communities.
“Being recognized as Sustainability Impact Company of the Year is a powerful affirmation of the kind of organization we aspire to be — one where business growth goes hand in hand with creating meaningful impact for people, communities, and the country. At TP, sustainability is not a separate initiative. It is embedded in how we lead, innovate, develop talent, strengthen communities, and operate responsibly every day,” said Rahul Jolly, chief executive officer of TP in the Philippines.
Finalist
Apart from winning the sustainability award, TP was also named a finalist in the AI Impact Award, Company for Regional Development of the Year, and Talent Transformation Program of the Year categories.
The company pointed to workforce development as a key pillar of its strategy. TP reported that 87 percent of leadership positions are filled internally, reflecting its focus on employee training, career advancement, and leadership development. The firm has also maintained its status as a Great Place to Work for eight consecutive years.
Inclusion programs have likewise played a major role in its operations. Women now account for 48 percent of leadership roles, while initiatives supporting women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, persons with disabilities, students, returning overseas Filipino workers, and underserved communities continue to expand employment opportunities.
Outreach efforts
TP’s community outreach efforts also gained momentum through its Citizen of the World program. In 2025, more than 1,200 employee volunteers contributed over 20,500 volunteer hours, benefiting nearly 30,000 people through projects focused on education, health, disaster response and livelihood support.
