The government has cautioned the public against fraudulent offers tied to a housing project in Laguna, clarifying that the site is not open to general applicants under its flagship housing program.
In a public advisory, authorities said the resettlement site at Sining Residences 1 in San Pedro, Laguna, is exclusively allocated for families affected by the Department of Transportation’s North-South Commuter Railway Extension (NSCR-Ex) Project.
They said it is not part of the available units for public application under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
Officials issued the clarification following reports of individuals and groups allegedly offering unauthorized housing slots or promoting access to the project for a fee.
The advisory urged the public to exercise caution and verify claims before engaging in any transactions. It also warned against dealing with unauthorized agents or entities claiming to facilitate access to government housing programs in the area.
