Honda Philippines Inc. has introduced the updated Honda ADV160, bringing new technology, revised features, and expanded variant options to its adventure-style automatic scooter lineup.

The latest version of the ADV160 was formally unveiled during a media event held on 19 January, where Honda presented updates aimed at daily commuting and longer weekend rides.

The model continues to sit in Honda’s growing automatic scooter range, positioned for riders who split time between urban traffic and open-road travel.

The ADV160 keeps its adventure-inspired design while adding functional updates. Seat height remains at 780 mm, paired with 165 mm of ground clearance to handle uneven roads and typical city obstacles.

Honda retained the upright riding position and wide handlebars that have become familiar to ADV riders.

Power comes from a 157cc liquid-cooled, four-valve eSP+ engine, producing 11.8 kW at 8,500 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Honda lists fuel consumption at 45.0 km per liter under WMTC testing, supported by an 8.1-liter fuel tank.

The engine is paired with an automatic transmission, keeping operation simple in traffic-heavy conditions.

Safety features include anti-lock braking with wavy disc brakes and Honda Selectable Torque Control for added traction on slippery surfaces.

Full LED lighting, an emergency stop signal, and hazard lamps are standard across the range to improve visibility on busy roads.

Honda added a five-inch TFT meter that displays riding information more clearly. The RoadSync variant introduces smartphone connectivity for navigation and call notifications through Honda RoadSync. Control switches are arranged for easier access while riding.

Convenience features include a USB Type-C charging port, an idling stop system, and a Honda Smart Key for keyless operation. Underseat storage measures 30 liters, suitable for daily items.

The scooter also supports an optional smart top box that works with the Smart Key system, with availability scheduled for May.

Honda Philippines President Takeshi Kobayashi said the ADV160 continues to represent what the company calls “SUV Pride,” referring to its mix of rugged design and everyday usability.

The ABS version is offered in Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Pearl Fadeless White, and Matte Sabre Green Metallic. The RoadSync version comes in Matte Pearl Crater White and Quartz Brown Metallic.

The updated ADV160 will be available nationwide starting 2 February 2026. Pricing is set at P167,400 for the ABS variant and P174,900 for the RoadSync version.
