CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police arrested seven individuals and seized an estimated P30,600 worth of suspected shabu in coordinated anti-drug operations across four towns in Bulacan on 16 January, as the Philippine National Police intensified its street-level campaign against illegal drugs.
The operations were carried out by municipal police stations in San Jose del Monte, Angat, Pandi, and Obando, with each unit conducting separate buy-bust operations. Authorities confiscated 15 sachets of suspected shabu and recovered marked buy-bust money, according to reports from Police Regional Office 3.
The seized items were sent to the Bulacan Forensic Unit for laboratory examination. All suspects are set to face charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Bulacan police chief Angel Garcillano said the operations targeted street-level drug distribution networks that directly affect local communities.
“We are focusing on those who bring drugs into our neighborhoods to maintain peace, order, and safety for all residents,” Garcillano said.
The operations form part of the PNP’s intensified anti-drug campaign under the “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas” framework.
