SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — The city government announced Wednesday that all systems are in place for the upcoming Undas commemoration.

Under its "Alerto Daun 2026" initiative, the local government has finalized coordination with barangay officials and cemetery administrators to ensure a safe, orderly observance across all 12 cemeteries from October 29 through November 3.

Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag emphasized that close inter-agency and community coordination is vital and remains the backbone of the observance.

"Undas is a time of remembrance and respect. Our priority is to ensure every family can honor their departed loved ones in a safe, orderly, and dignified manner," she said.

More than 500 personnel — drawn from the local government, police, Bureau of Fire Protection, and volunteer groups — will be deployed starting tomorrow to maintain security, manage traffic, and provide emergency assistance throughout the five-day observance.

"We urge the public to cooperate with our personnel and observe safety guidelines as we honor our departed loved ones together," the city mayor stated.
