More than a decade after his passing, the legacy of Dolphy, the country’s beloved Comedy King, continues to live on—not just through his films and laughter, but through the enduring love he left behind for his children.

In a candid interview with Julius Babao, Epy Quizon revealed that he still receives a monthly allowance from his late father. “Hanggang ngayon, ako lang ang simula’t sapul ng pinanganak ako, [I’m turning 52], nagbibigay pa rin ng allowance ang aking ama,” he shared.

Epy also revealed that Dolphy made sure all of his children, even those who have passed away, are remembered and cared for. “Pati ‘yung mga anak na lumipas na… will have that share,” he said.

A testament to Dolphy’s deep compassion and foresight, the continued support reflects the kind of father he was—generous, thoughtful, and loving, even beyond his lifetime.
