CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Bataan police chief Col. Marites A. Salvadora was named Outstanding Senior Police Commissioned Officer (PCO) in Central Luzon for 2025 during the Police Regional Office 3’s culminating ceremony for the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month.
The awarding was held Thursday at the PRO3 Multi-Purpose Hall in Camp Captain Julian Olivas.
With the theme “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, ang Gusto ng Pulis, Ligtas Ka,” the ceremony highlighted the evolving role of the police as peacekeepers and partners in participatory governance. PRO3 Director BGen. Rogelio “Pojie” Peñones emphasized the importance of police-community collaboration to build safer and more empowered communities.
Col. Salvadora, a member of PNPA Class 2000, was recognized not only for her operational leadership but also for her strong community engagement. Since assuming her post as Bataan’s top cop, she has built close ties with journalists, influencers, and the public, earning trust through open communication and a strong stance against lawless elements. A local journalist remarked, “Col. Salvadora succeeded where her predecessors failed,” citing her ability to keep the public informed while ensuring community safety.
