MARIVELES, Bataan — The Philippine National Police (PNP) has begun recruiting to fill a 6,500 attrition quota for 2025, with a significant focus on Central Luzon and the National Capital Region.
The PNP aims to recruit 550 new personnel in Region 3 and another 550 in the National Capital Region, the largest allocations across the country.
On Monday, in the highly industrialized town of Mariveles, the PNP conducted interviews for aspiring applicants under the 2025 Attrition Quota Cycle. The interviews, held at the Mariveles Municipal Hall, were led by Bataan Police Provincial Office director Police Col. Marites A. Salvadora, Mariveles Chief of Police Lt. Col. Mar Joseph Ravelo, and local officials, including Mayor Ace Jelo Concepcion.
The activity was designed to assess applicants’ qualifications, character and readiness to serve, reflecting the PNP’s commitment to selecting competent individuals who uphold the organization’s core values of integrity, discipline and public service.
For the 2025 calendar year, 5,639 quota slots have been allocated to 17 Police Regional Offices.
