Comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto posted throwback photos of her family — her daughter and her husband Trevor Magallanes — on Thursday, 31 July, expressing her shock after learning about the death of her husband.
"I'm deeply saddened by this development. Hope u give us time to mourn his lost especially my daughter. Just pray for us that we will get thru this by the help of God!" she wrote in the caption.
Quinto said she is “still gathering information about his death.”
"Even us or his immediate family are still verifying what happened. So we kindly ask his friends or anyone to stop spreading fake news or mere speculations about his death," Quinto almost pleadingly wrote, adding that she and her daughter are flying to the US tomorrow.
"So please wait for the official announcement surrounding his death from me & his family only and not from any other source," she added.
In conclusion, she wrote: "Mahal kita Trev."
Soon, celebrity friends were sending the comedienne messages of condolences, including Ogie Alcasid, Maxene Magalona, Jaya, Alessandra de Rossi, and Candy Pangilinan in the comment section.
Quinto married Magallanes in 2016, and their daughter Athena was born in 2017. They have since split and were working on their divorce.
