Did Bulgari unfollow Pia Wurtzbach?

A month after an executive assured everything remains well between Bulgari Philippines and its ambassador Pia Wurtzbach came rumors that the luxury brand has unfollowed so many accounts including their House Friends, Davika Hoorne and Pia Wurtzbach.

That created a new stir online as it came almost right on heels of a rumor that a crazy rich Asian was pissed off when her seat at a Bulgari event was given to Wurtzbach. She was said to be so pissed off that she reportedly pulled off some strings for the beauty queen not to get any invite at a Fashion Week event abroad

When somebody explained Bulgari not following Wurtzbach on social media is not a big deal, one netizen explained: “sa FB culture, it may be insignificant, but for IG culture, where following matters and when a brand following a certain artist suddenly unfollow — that’s huge.”

“Because in IG follow ain’t cheap, it’s not like a flea market in FB where you can shout to your com sec or profile F2F — to do so is tagged as “cheap” and gives the opposite effect — some are even avoided like the plague,” the commenter further explained.

“As for what’s the big deal?”

In the simplest terms (not always, but often) a brand unfollowing an artist can mean end of a connection, endorsement and/or sponsorship; it can also mean that the certain artist/influencer is not in the good graces of the brand or he/she is not the priority anymore,” he said in conclusion

“It’s actually been confirmed that Bulgari did unfollow a large amount of people at hindi lang si (It’s not only) Pia. From 65 naging 35 ( From 65 they are only following 35). And if a large brand unfollows you it’s kinda a big thing kasi it’s just either of the two, either you are not marketable or you left the brand to accept another company’s offer,” one guy opined

Fans clap back at Imelda Schweighart

Beauty queen Imelda Schweighhart has drawn criticism again after making remarks against GEHLEE’s recognition as a K-pop idol as she had not seen her billboards when she was in South Korea.

In a Facebook post, the beauty queen wrote:

“K-pop idol si Geelee? Parang di ko naman siya nakita sa billboard or magazines nung nasa South Korea ako (Geelee, a K-pop idol? It was like I didn’t see her in billboards anc magazines while I was in South Korea).”

Her remarks have drawn reactions from GEHLEE’s fans who came defending the Pinoy Big Brother housemate.

“Buti pa si Gehlee pasok sa TC Candler “100 Most Beautiful Faces in the World”!. No. 82 (2024)

No. 66 ​(2025). Eh Ikaw? Unplaced yarn HAHAHAHA,” one guy commented.

“Yung nang bash walang billboard TAs Yung binash dami ng billboard international HAHAHA,” wailed another fan (The one who bashed has no billboard, the one who wad bashed has many international billboards).

“Eto po si ms Gehlee if you didn’t know po she’s also a pageantry holder, a Kpop Idol of group UNIS and proud Filipina,” said one avid fan.

Gina Pareño reunites with Coco Martin in ‘Sigabo’
