A 38-year-old quarry inspector was injured after being shot by unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects on Saturday in Barangay Juan, Solsona, Ilocos Norte.
The victim, identified as Kerwin Passion, a resident of the same barangay, sustained gunshot wounds following the attack. Initial reports from sources privy to the incident indicate that Passion was shot by two male suspects wearing blue raincoats and riding a motorcycle. The suspects immediately fled the scene and remain at large.
As of this writing, the motive behind the attack has yet to be determined.
The DAILY TRIBUNE has reached out to Police Captain Randy Damo, chief of the Solsona Municipal Police Station, for further information. However, no comment or official response has been received.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. This is a developing story.
