The universe just got a little brighter.
2017 Miss Universe and South African beauty queen Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and husband Tim Tebow are celebrating a precious new chapter in their love story — the arrival of their first child.
In an emotional post shared on social media, Demi-Leigh revealed that their daughter has finally arrived. “Our daughter is here!” she wrote, overflowing with joy. “We couldn’t be more grateful for the blessing and gift of this new little life.”
While they have yet to reveal her name, the couple’s announcement was filled with gratitude — for the prayers, support, and the medical team who stood by them during the labor and delivery process. “From our doctor to our nurses and all the hospital staff — we are so grateful and thankful for you,” Demi-Leigh expressed, recognizing the team that helped usher in this deeply personal milestone.
The former Miss Universe also extended heartfelt thanks to close friend and photographer Hannah Janoe, who captured their family’s first moments with their newborn. “Thank you for capturing one of the most special moments of our lives so perfectly,” she added.
This new chapter for Demi-Leigh and Tim — a power couple known for their advocacy work, faith-driven lives, and unshakeable bond — marks a fresh kind of universe to explore: parenthood.
