According to Ventura, a 32-year-old woman was injured during the incident.

A separate explosion occurred around 9 a.m. on 12 May in Sitio Baklayan, Barangay Panngawalupa, while another explosion involving a suspected improvised bomb occurred around 1:30 p.m., along the national highway in Datu Anggal Midtimbang.
