Davao City — The Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) in the Davao Region will hold a series of job fairs on 30 April and 1 May at various locations.
DoLE-XI regional director Randolf C. Pensoy announced the schedule and venues at a Philippine Information Agency forum in Davao City on Monday.
“We are excited to launch our 123rd Labor Day Job Fair in the Davao Region. For this year we will be having two days on 30 April and on 1 May for the Job Fair which will be held in Tagum City, Digos City, Davao City and in Davao de Oro,” Pensoy said.
The job fairs will begin on 30 April at the City Hall Atrium in Tagum City (exclusive for first-time jobseekers) and at the Gaisano Grand Mall in Digos City (exclusive for manufacturing and services industries).
On 1 May, job fairs will be held at the SM City Davao Annex and at the Nabunturan Comprehensive High School in Davao de Oro (exclusive for the mining industry).
Jobseekers are advised to bring their resumes, dress professionally, research participating companies, and be prepared for immediate job interviews.
“Job seekers must stay positive and confident. It can help them impress respective companies,” said Suzette Jane A. Antiveros, focal person for the Regional Employment Program at DoLE-XI.
