Enrique Gil, it seems, has not gotten over his former inamorata Liza Soberano.
Well, that’s what Ogie Diaz made it appear in the recent episode of his online show.
“Kasi ang alam ko, parang nagtetext o nagmemessage si Liza kay Enrique. Sobrang excited daw si Enrique, kinikilig pa rin. Love pa rin niya si Liza (Because from what I know, Liza still texts or sends messages to Enrique.
Enrique gets so excited, he still feels giddy,” Diaz shared.
When asked by his co-host, Dyosa Pockoh, if Soberano still loves Gil, Diaz said he doesn’t know as the actress is said to be romancing Jeffrey Oh, Jame’s Reid’s former business partner.
“Hindi natin alam (We don”t know). Let’s wait and see,” Diaz said.
Rumors have it that Soberano and Gil might do a project together for ABS-CBN.
But we think that it is very farfetched since a network insider told us that Kapamilya executives are no longer interested in Soberano.
Just recently, Gil inked a contract with MQuest Ventures for several movies.
Netizens are “shipping” Ivana Alawi and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition housemate Dustin Yu.
This, after Alawi participated in the “jojowain or totropahin” challenge where she answered “jojowain” when asked about Yu before she left the PBB house. Jojowain is slang for a girl/boy willing to make a guy/girl her/his boyfriend/girlfriend.
Alawi’s open declaration sent the housemates in a frenzy. They were all giddy.
And what do you know? Hours after Alawi left the PBB House, she already followed Yu on Instagram.
Yu also said “jojowain” when asked about Alawi.
Netizens showed their love for Alawi and Yu on social media.
“Dustin loves Ivana. Even if a girl is a bit older and matures earlier than a boy, true love is possible between two hearts who understand how to love and be loved.”
“In fairness bagay sila. Sila dahilan ba’t ako nanood ng PBB (To be fair, they look good together. They are the reasons why I watched PBB).”
Interestingly, another housemate, AZ Martinez, a fellow Sparkle talent, unabashedly expressed her admiration for Yu. She shared to fellow housemates how Yu figured prominently in a recent dream of hers. Later, she admitted liking Yu.
When told about it, Yu doused any possibility of a brewing romance with Martinez as he considers her ex-boyfriend his brother.
Martinez’s ex-boyfriend, Larkin Castor, reacted to Yu’s walkout in his chemistry test with Martinez inside the PBB house.
“Love you, bro, biggest respect to you. Appreciate you,” Castor posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Yu and Castor were co-stars in the anthology series, Regal Studio Presents: Promdi City.
It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu chided her My Love Will Make You Disappear leading man Paulo Avelino for dancing to the tune of “Nobody, Nobody” years back.
“Alam mo, kaya mo ding sumayaw at kumanta, ayaw mo lang sumayaw (You know, you can dance and sing, you just don’t want to dance),” Chiu told Avelino in a post of X.
Avelino agreed about Chiu’s observation.
“Oo kasi mas pipiliin ko naman na kumanta at umarte kaysa sumayaw (Yes because I would choose to sing and act than to dance),” the actor said.
Chiu chided the actor that he once sang and danced while in drag, performing “Nobody, Nobody” in a noontime show.
Chiu asked the actor if he’s willing to do it again.
“If it fits the role,” Avelino said in the vernacular.
