Noli de Castro returns for ‘Kababalaghan 8’

Noli de Castro returns to host the annual Halloween special, Kababalaghan 8: Pagkagat ng Dilim, which looks into the unsettling experiences of three families in Metro Manila who report unexplained occurrences in their homes.

Now on its eighth installment, Kababalaghan revisits accounts of alleged paranormal activity, including incidents captured on video and shared by the families involved.

In “Bulong,” de Castro visits an old house in southern Metro Manila, where generations of one family have reportedly heard mysterious whispers and seen bloodied figures inside their home.

“Upuan” features the Ditablan family in Taguig City, whose CCTV footage appears to show a chair lifting into the air before being thrown aside. The family wonders whether an old tree near their home may be connected to the strange events.

The third story, “Bahay ni Tiya,” follows Mich’s family after they move into an old house owned by a relative in northern Metro Manila. Strange occurrences reportedly began after they converted an upstairs room into a bedroom. The family later posted videos of their experiences on social media, drawing reactions from netizens.

Kababalaghan 8: Pagkagat ng Dilim premieres on 31 October at 6:45 p.m. on the ABS-CBN News YouTube channel, with a television broadcast at 10:30 p.m. on ALLTV2, A2Z and Kapamilya Channel, as well as on Kapamilya Online Live.
