Laguna suspends public school classes on 5 October

LAGUNA — Classes in all public schools across Laguna will be suspended on Monday, 5 October, in observance of National Teachers’ Month, Governor Sol Aragones announced Sunday.
Aragones said the suspension covers public schools throughout the province, giving teachers a day off as the month-long celebration honoring educators comes to a close.
For private schools, the governor said the decision on whether to suspend classes will be left to their respective school administrations.
The announcement comes as schools nationwide mark National Teachers’ Month, which culminates on 5 October in celebration of National and World Teachers’ Day.
