Authorities secure five suspects and confiscated evidence following an early morning raid on an active drug den along Villa Street in Barangay Central Bicutan, Taguig City, on Sunday.

Police dismantled an illegal drug den and arrested five high-value suspects early Sunday morning after seizing P1.088 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Central Bicutan.
Operatives from the Southern Police District's (SPD) Drug Enforcement Unit and the Taguig City Police Station raided a residence along Villa Street around 2:40 a.m.
Police identified the arrested suspects as alias Jemai, alias Mohaimen, alias Moonderf John, alias Mark Anthony and alias Erwin, who was later identified as the maintainer of the facility.
The raid was triggered after an undercover officer acting as a poseur-buyer successfully purchased suspected shabu from Jemai.
Backup officers then moved in, secured the location, and apprehended all occupants inside.
Authorities confiscated five heat-sealed plastic sachets containing approximately 160 grams of suspected shabu, marked buy-bust money, and a mobile phone allegedly used to facilitate the transaction.
The suspects were taken to the SPD drug enforcement unit office for documentation and face formal complaints for violations of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
