Police arrested a 48-year-old man newly identified as a high-value drug suspect and seized approximately P1.02 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation Wednesday in Taguig City.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect by the alias “Naim.” He was taken into custody around 5:20 p.m. on 14 October in Barangay Maharlika Village, police said.

The operation was conducted by operatives from the SPD District Drug Enforcement Unit in coordination with Sub-Station 7 of the Taguig City Police Station.

Investigators recovered three heat-sealed plastic sachets containing about 150 grams of suspected shabu, valued at an estimated P1,020,000 under standard government drug pricing.

Police also confiscated marked buy-bust money and a white envelope used during the transaction.
