Palawan's Angelica Lopez was crowned the first-ever Reina Filipinas 2026 during the pageant's inaugural coronation night on 7 August at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
Lopez topped a field of 21 candidates from across the country to win the title. She also received the Miss Pasarela special award.
The victory marks another milestone in Lopez's pageant career. She previously won the Binibining Pilipinas International 2023 title, which earned her the right to represent the Philippines at Miss International 2024 in Tokyo, Japan.
By winning the inaugural Reina Filipinas crown, Lopez became the pageant's first titleholder.
The inaugural edition also named its runners-up:
Reina Filipinas 2026 – Angelica Lopez (Palawan)
First Runner-up – Zambales
Second Runner-up – Camarines Sur
Third Runner-up – Mandaluyong City
Fourth Runner-up – Caloocan City
The maiden edition of Reina Filipinas featured 21 contestants and introduced a new national pageant that highlights Filipina beauty, confidence and cultural identity.
