Viva Entertainment is bringing together its roster of actors, singers and P-pop idols for a day of competition and performances as the Viva All Star Games 2026 takes over the Smart Araneta Coliseum on 16 August.
The annual event will pit Team Viva One against Team Viva Records in a basketball exhibition and a cheerdance battle, giving fans the chance to see their favorite artists step beyond the stage and screen.
Actor Gab Lagman will lead Team Viva One, joined by Wilbert Ross, Lance Carr, Joseph Marco, Jerome Ponce, Rabin Angeles, Jairus Aquino, Marco Gallo, Kyosu Guinto, PJ Rosario, Jac Abellana, Dann Aquino and Martin Venegas.
“May pride ‘din kung sino ang first ever Viva All Star Games champion. Everyone wants to win the first game. I can tell that Viva One is competitive and the other team is competitive as well. It’s all love, we want to give back to the fans, we want them to enjoy,” Lagman told DAILY TRIBUNE.
Facing them is Team Viva Records, captained by hitmaker Arthur Nery. Rounding out the squad are Adie, Rob Deniel, Amiel Sol, Matthaios, Migo Valid, Nik Makino, Zeke Abella, Lesther Abano, Eugene Layug, Jeremy G, Juan Caoile and Steven of Cuatro.
“We want to have fun. We just want to enjoy ‘yung magiging outcome ng play. Binigyan kami ni coach ng winning mentality, nadala na lang ‘din kami na gawin ‘yun. At the same time, nagustuhan na lang namin na i-execute ‘yung sa big day, sa game mismo (We want to have fun. We just want to enjoy the outcome of the play. Coach instilled a winning mentality in us, and we just embraced that mindset. At the same time, we really wanted to execute it well on the big day — during the game itself),” Adie told DAILY TRIBUNE.
Beyond the basketball action, the competition will continue with a cheerdance face-off featuring artists from both camps.
Cheering for Team Viva One are Heaven Peralejo, Bea Binene, Angela Muji, Rhen Escaño, Jaime Yllana, Zeke Polina, Mico Chua, GAT members Ethan David, Charles Law and Derrick Ong, together with P-pop girl group RAYA.
Representing Viva Records in the cheerdance contest are Aubrey Caraan, Krissha Viaje, Mia Bella, Hyacinth Callado, ALAMAT members Jao and Tomas, CJ Villavicencio, GAT’s Michael Keith and Hans Paronda, Xerenade’s Eli and P-pop girl group Sugar N’ Spice.
