More than one kilogram of suspected shabu was seized from three listed high‑value individuals during a buy‑bust operation in Makati City early Friday morning.
Operatives of the Makati City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit launched the operation at around 3:42 a.m. along Kalayaan Avenue, Barangay Singkamas, Makati City.
Acting on validated intelligence, the operating team engaged the suspects in a controlled transaction that resulted in their arrest.
Recovered from the suspects were approximately 1,010 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P6,868,000, along with the buy‑bust money and boodle money used during the operation.
The suspects were immediately placed under police custody, and charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 are being prepared for filing before the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.
