Singer Dingdong Avanzado is on the road to recovery after spending several weeks in and out of the hospital due to an undisclosed medical condition.

His wife, singer Jessa Zaragoza, shared an update on social media, revealing that the veteran performer has undergone surgery and was recently readmitted for continued treatment. While the couple has chosen to keep the nature of his illness private, Jessa acknowledged that the past few weeks have been especially challenging for their family.

She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, relatives, friends, and supporters who have offered prayers, visited Dingdong, and extended acts of kindness throughout his recovery.
