Casino Plus links platform to gov’t helpline

Casino Plus has linked its digital gaming platform to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.'s (PAGCOR) National Problem Gambling Helpline, giving players and their families direct access to government-backed support services.
The company said on Friday that the integration allows users to access the newly launched 24/7 counseling service directly through its digital platforms.
The National Problem Gambling Helpline, reachable at (02) 8248-9568, provides confidential counseling and support to individuals experiencing gambling-related concerns, as well as assistance to their family members.
The program is implemented in partnership with Seagulls Flock Organization Inc., which provides counseling, psychological support, referrals, triage and long-term assistance through para-counselors and mental health professionals.
“Responsible gaming is not only about systems, policies, or compliance. It is about people,” Casino Plus Chief Executive Officer Evan Spytma said.
“As we continue to grow, our responsibility is to make sure that players are supported, informed, and protected at every touchpoint. The integration of the National Problem Gambling Helpline is an important step in making help more accessible to the people and families who may need it,” he added.
Casino Plus said the hotline is now featured in its Help Center alongside links to PAGCOR's responsible gaming portal, online self-exclusion application, self-exclusion form, family exclusion form, and licensee-emanating exclusion form, giving users direct access to the government's responsible gaming tools.
