The vibrant world of Filipino pop music took center stage as BGYO joined fellow ABS-CBN Music artists at Billboard Philippines’ “PPOP Unite: The Convention,” held Wednesday in Makati City.
Sharing the spotlight with BGYO were rising P-pop acts Wrive, 1621, AJAA, Yes, My Love, DNA, Azter, and Baby Dolls, showcasing the growing depth and diversity of the local idol scene.
Beyond delivering energetic performances, the artists also spent time connecting with supporters through meet-and-greet sessions and photo opportunities at the ABS-CBN booth, creating memorable moments for fans throughout the event.
For BGYO member Gelo, the convention served as an important platform to highlight the richness of Original Pilipino Music and its increasing global appeal.
“One aspect we really want people to see is how diverse Filipino music is. It’s about time the whole world recognizes the excellence of Filipino artists,” he said.
The gathering brought together performers, fans, and industry players in a celebration of P-pop’s continued rise, reinforcing the genre’s growing influence both in the Philippines and on the international stage.
