P133M fake footwear seized in Pampanga
Some P133 million worth of fake footwear was seized in Apalit, Pampanga, on Thursday, 26 February 2026.
According to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), the CIDG Pampanga Provincial Field Unit and the Apalit Municipal Police Station seized P133,290,000.00 worth of counterfeit CROCS footwear.
The operation was part of the implementation of Oplan Megashopper, which enforced Search Warrant No. 26-37066 issued by Hon. Phillip Charles G. Santos of Manila RTC Branch 46.
The search at a warehouse reportedly operated by alias “GM” in the Golden Haojia Industrial Compound resulted in the recovery of large volumes of counterfeit CROCS footwear, along with equipment and assorted documents.
Operatives also found suspected counterfeit footwear resembling Adidas products, which will undergo product verification.
Warehouse personnel failed to present any permits or proof of legal operation.
