The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is urging the youth to register for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections scheduled on 2 November 2026.

Comelec Chairman George Garcia said individuals who are at least 14 years old may register, provided they turn 15 on or before the SK election date.

The poll body said registration will continue until 18 May 2026.

Under Resolution 11177, SK-eligible voters must be at least 15 years old but not older than 30, and must have resided in their barangay for at least six months as of the election date.

Comelec’s latest data show that 223,282 applicants registered from 20 October to 14 December 2025. Of these, 218,801 were new registrants; 918 were transfers from other cities or municipalities; 279 were transfers within the same municipality; and 3,284 were corrections of entries.
