The Manila city government has begun administering free flu vaccines at health centers and district hospitals across the city.
In a social media post on Friday, the city government said 14,000 flu vaccines are available in local health facilities.
The vaccination drive aims to provide added protection for residents, particularly senior citizens and children, as colder weather increases the risk of illness.
City officials also expressed gratitude to Distriphil for donating the 14,000 flu vaccines currently being used in the program.
The vaccines will be available while supplies last.
