

Manila Police District announced temporary road closures in several major roads in the city starting 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, 1 March 2026, for a scheduled marathon.
The following roads and sections will be closed starting 1:30 a.m.:
Roxas Blvd. (Northbound: Quirino Ave. to Katigbak Drive; Southbound: P. Ocampo Ave. to Katigbak Drive)
Bonifacio Drive from Anda Circle to Katigbak Drive
P. Burgos Ave. between Roxas Blvd. and Jones Bridge
Finance Road connecting P. Burgos Ave. to Taft Ave.
Ma. Orosa St. from P. Burgos Ave. to Kalaw Ave.
Muralla St. from Sta. Lucia St. to A. Soriano Ave.
Sta. Lucia St. from Muralla St. to A. Soriano Ave.
Eastbound A. Soriano Ave. from the Muralla/Solana intersection to Anda Circle
Jones Bridge
Magallanes Drive (Post Office area) from MacArthur Bridge southbound to Jones Bridge northbound
Magallanes Drive passing the Bureau of Immigration
Westbound Kalaw Ave. from M.H. del Pilar St. to Roxas Blvd.
Westbound Quirino Ave. from Adriatico St. to Roxas Blvd.
Traffic rerouting
Motorists are encouraged to use these detour options:
Vehicles coming from MacArthur and Quezon bridges toward Roxas Blvd. southbound should take P. Burgos Ave. to Taft Ave.
Vehicles on Kalaw Ave. heading to Roxas Blvd. should turn left at M.H. del Pilar St.
Traffic from Ma. Orosa and Mabini streets should redirect to Kalaw Ave. and head toward Taft Ave.
Traffic from U.N. Ave. may utilize Roxas Blvd. service road
Vehicles on Bonifacio Drive are required to U-turn at Anda Circle
Vehicles exiting the Binondo/Intramuros area should use the westbound lane of A. Soriano Ave.
Traffic from Plaza Cervantes may use the Escolta underpass or San Vicente St. to reach MacArthur Bridge.
Large vehicles and trailer trucks traveling from Pasay must turn right onto Quirino Ave., while those arriving from Mel Lopez Blvd. should follow the official truck route via Capulong, Yuseco, and Lacson avenues.
Officials urge drivers to plan, anticipate heavy delays, and strictly follow the instructions of traffic personnel on duty.
