CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police operatives in Bulacan arrested four drug suspects and seized more than P40,000 worth of shabu in separate buy-bust operations conducted on 22 and 23 November.
The operations, led by the Drug Enforcement Units of the Marilao and San Miguel Municipal Police Stations, targeted alleged street-level methamphetamine sellers. A total of 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 6 grams, along with buy-bust money, were recovered.
Bulacan Provincial Director PCol. Angel L. Garcillano said the arrests were part of the PNP’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs under the directive of Acting Chief PGen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.
The suspects are currently detained while charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) are being prepared. The confiscated evidence is undergoing forensic examination.
Authorities urged the public to report drug-related activities through police hotlines or barangay officials.
