Oasis Gaming emerged as the Valorant champion in the Predator League 2026 Philippines held over the weekend at the SM North EDSA Annex Atrium.
After falling short the last time, Oasis got the job done this time after beating Xipto Esports, 3-1, to earn the right to represent the country in the APAC Predator League 2026 in India from 9 to 11 January 2026.
Oasis appeared headed towards a trouble-free win after taking the first two games but Xipto stormed back and ruled the third.
Sensing the urgency of the situation, Oasis pulled the plug on Xipto’s bid in the fourth.
Composed of Slathom, Zeus, Marky, Tesseract and Zynd, Oasis bagged the top cash prize of P200,000.
For finishing second, Xipto got P120,000.
The team will also compete in the Asia Pacific championship.
Also joining Oasis in the India tournament is NAOS Esports following its 2-1 victory over West Point Esports, KUKUYS and Team Nemesis.
“Esports is also endorsed in (the) UAAP (University Athletic Association of the Philippines and it is evolving,” said Totie Gob, Marketing head for Consumer.
“We are making sure that our product assortment, the product portfolio, is maintaining the Philippine market, meaning entry level,” he added.
