Laur, Nueva Ecija — A 39-year-old teacher and resident of Barangay San Fernando was shot dead by suspects riding in tandem at Barangay San Juan on 4 November 2025.
The suspects, reportedly wearing black jackets, masks, and helmets, were riding a black Kawasaki Bajaj motorcycle when they fired at Malaca.
After the attack, they fled toward Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija.
Laur Municipal Police Station Chief Police Major Joseph B. Morden immediately issued a flash alarm to the Provincial Tactical Operations Center to conduct a dragnet.
Investigators, with the assistance of Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO), are continuing the investigation.
As of press time, authorities are still pursuing the suspects.
