BAGUIO CITY — The Baguio City Police is investigating the death of a construction worker who was found lifeless inside his barracks on the evening of 3 November 2025.
At around 10 PM that night, a delivery rider arrived at the worker’s barracks located at Eagle Crest, Phase 1, Bakakeng Norte, Baguio City. The rider called out to the occupants but received no response. Looking through the window, he saw the worker lying down and initially assumed he was asleep.
After repeatedly calling the man’s attention with no reply, the rider contacted the construction foreman. Upon unlocking and entering the barracks, they discovered that the worker was already dead, explaining his absence from work that day.
The deceased was identified as a 47-year-old male, a native of Naguilian, La Union, who was employed as a construction worker at the said site.
Police continue to investigate the incident to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding his death.
