Kris Aquino has shared a deeply personal reflection about family, healing and her vision of “home” in her latest Instagram post.
The “Queen of all Media” recalled past road trips with her late brother, former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, and her trusted companion Alvin, as she prepares for a new chapter in life.
She described her travels with Alvin across various provinces, noting how she would gauge prosperity and progress by simple signs of growth — well-lit ATMs, thriving gas stations, familiar fast-food chains, reputable hospitals and modern infrastructure.
“I’m no economist, but I told Alvin that it’s obvious when a city is prosperous,” she wrote.
Aquino also revealed her admiration for places with strong Internet connectivity, organized memorial parks, and accessible healthcare — all part of her personal checklist as she plans her next move.
“I need my wheelchair, no sun exposure, I bathe seated — yet my checklist on 13 November will have all I need,” she shared. “If you see someone in a colorful mask, an orange wheelchair, shopping for groceries and toilet paper — that’s me,” adding that fans may take a picture with her. “Hindi ako snob.”
Despite her health challenges, Aquino’s message was laced with humor and warmth, teasing Alvin to start packing, find schools for her son Bimby, and check for SPED therapy for her eldest son, Josh.
Her reflection ended on an emotional note, addressing her late brother Noynoy: “P.S. Noy, your beloved room gets the least light. The two boys and I will sleep there. Your face and your ‘behave, Kristina, Joshy, Bimb!’ — we miss you.”
