Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque caused a stir yesterday after revealing that he is thinking about returning to the Philippines to face the charges filed against him personally.
Speaking from the Netherlands, Roque said he is prepared to go head-to-head with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., even if that means doing so while behind bars.
Roque, who previously applied for asylum in the Netherlands, said he could no longer stay quiet amid what he described as irregularities under the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
In April 2025, the Department of Justice charged Roque with qualified human trafficking, a non-bailable offense, at the Angeles City Regional Trial Court in Pampanga.
