Sarah Geronimo was nearly whisked off for bringing “alcohol” to the Billie Eilish concert at the O2 Arena in London.
A short video, posted by Matteo Guidicelli on his Facebook account on 15 July, showed Geronimo being asked by the guard what’s in her bag. The popstar replied: “alcohol.”
Geronimo was then told that it was prohibited to bring into the concert venue. Guidicelli came to his wife’s rescue and said it was just a “hand sanitizer.”
“Almost got in trouble for bringing in ‘alcohol.’ Relax, it was just Green Cross,” Guidicelli wrote in his Facebook caption.
Guidicelli described the Eilish concert as “worth every mile.”
“She owned that stage. Commanding, electric, and totally in control. Inspiring to witness!! And the best part was she was so grateful to the audience and her team!” he added.
Expressing his thoughts, he wrote: “What if we saw a Sarah G x Billie Eilish collab someday? Now that would be wild.”
