Beermen hang tough, survive huge Dyip scare
The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) slipped further in early trading on 17 July 2025, falling by 43.04 points or 0.68 percent to 6,294.44.
DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (PLUS) led the losers, nosediving by 27.60 percent to P20.20 despite being the most actively traded stock with a turnover of more than P909 million. SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SMPH) also edged lower by 1.28 percent to P23.20, while International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICT) provided some support to the index with a modest gain of 0.86 percent to P446.80.
Among the top gainers were Top Line Business Development Corp. (TOP), up 11.86 percent to P1.32; Medco Holdings, Inc. (MED), which climbed 9.71 percent to P0.113; and Millennium Global Holdings, Inc. (MG), gaining 8.00 percent to P0.081.
On the other end, Lodestar Investment Holdings Corporation (LODE) continued its downward trend with a 9.26 percent drop to P0.49, while Crown Equities, Inc. (CEI) declined by 7.14 percent to P0.065.
