Ilocos has transformed into a prehistoric zone with the opening of the “Dinosaurs Alive” tour on Friday, 20 June 2025. The exhibit features life-sized, animatronic dinosaurs that move and roar, drawing visitors of all ages into a world millions of years in the past.
Now on display at Robinsons Ilocos Norte, the exhibit combines robotics, sound effects, and visual storytelling to recreate scenes from the Mesozoic Era. Visitors can encounter well-known species such as the Tyrannosaurus rex and Brachiosaurus, with each model designed to offer realistic movement and sound.
The event functions as both an interactive exhibit and an educational experience. Informational panels accompany each display, offering accessible facts about dinosaur species and prehistoric life — particularly engaging for students and children.
While the moving dinosaurs and high-tech features are a highlight, the exhibit also underscores how much remains unknown about Earth's ancient history. It’s a space that invites curiosity and encourages learning through entertainment.
Whether you're a science enthusiast or simply looking for something different to explore in Ilocos, the exhibit offers an engaging visit for families and individuals alike.
