The most wanted person in Metro Manila for June was arrested by Taguig City police during a joint operation on Wednesday, 12 June.
The suspect, alias “Gerardo,” 30, was apprehended at around 2:00 PM in Triumph, FTI, Western Bicutan, according to PCol. Rodel A. Pastor, officer-in-charge of the Taguig City Police Station.
Operatives from the station’s Warrant and Subpoena Section and Intelligence Section carried out the arrest.
A resident of South Signal, Taguig, “Gerardo” is facing charges of murder under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code, in connection with Section 29 of Republic Act 10951 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
The warrant of arrest was issued on 2 May, with no bail recommended.
Authorities also believe he is part of a carnapping group linked to multiple incidents across Metro Manila in recent months.
The suspect is now detained at the Taguig police custodial facility pending further legal action.
