Police operatives arrested three suspected drug personalities — including a high-value individual (HVI) and two street-level individuals (SLIs) — in separate anti-narcotics operations in Taguig this week, confiscating illegal drugs worth more than P510,000.
On Friday, joint elements of the District Drug Enforcement Unit of the Southern Police District, District Intelligence Division, Sub-Station 9 of the Taguig City Police Station and the Taguig Station Drug Enforcement Unit apprehended two suspects in a buy-bust operation in Barangay New Lower Bicutan.
The suspects were identified as alias “Ryan,” a 33-year-old male technician tagged as an HVI, and alias “Louie,” a 44-year-old unemployed male considered an SLI.
Seized from the suspects were one knot-tied transparent plastic bag and one heat-sealed sachet containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
Also recovered were a small brown envelope, a black Samsung Android phone, a P1,000 bill, and 24 pieces of P1,000 boodle money used in the sting. The confiscated drugs weighed approximately 75 grams and had an estimated street value of P510,000.
Two days earlier, another operation conducted by the Taguig police’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit in Barangay Bagumbayan led to the arrest of a 45-year-old woman, alias “Jackelyn,” also considered an SLI.
