MARCOS, Ilocos Norte — A 52-year-old man was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Cabaruan, Barangay Lydia, Marcos, Ilocos Norte, on Friday morning.
The suspect, identified as Allan Felipe y Zamora, single and a resident of the said barangay, was apprehended around 9:40 a.m. by operatives of the Marcos Municipal Police Station and the Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–Region 1).
The operation led to the confiscation of approximately 4.0 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P27,200. The illegal substance was packed in 15 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets.
Authorities also recovered non-drug evidence, including the marked buy-bust money, an empty cigarette pack and a small brown paper bag.
Proper on-site inventory and markings of all confiscated evidence were conducted in the presence of the suspect and mandatory witnesses, in compliance with legal procedures.
