Pasig City mayoral candidate Sarah Discaya vowed on Monday to improve the lives of every Pasigueño by providing essential services if she wins in the upcoming midterm elections.
Discaya, a successful businesswoman and owner of a quadruple-A construction company, asked fellow Pasigueños for their trust, emphasizing her focus on delivering genuine services to the people.
“I am here not to make promises, but to present a clear plan and platform for the city — what I see not just as a place, but a home for all of us,” Discaya said.
She committed to continuing positive initiatives, completing unfinished projects, and launching new programs to make life easier for Pasigueños.
The 48-year-old philanthropist, who runs a charity foundation that helps the poor through medical missions and various community services, highlighted the need to improve infrastructure in the city.
“There are roads, schools, health centers, and public markets that need improvement,” Discaya said. “We need to speed up and expand access to essential services, especially in health, education, livelihood, and disaster response.”
“I’m not claiming to have all the answers, but if given the chance, I will make sure Pasig has a leader who listens, accepts suggestions, and works tirelessly for the people. I’m not perfect, but my goal is to uplift every Pasigueño’s life,” she added.
Discaya emphasized that her candidacy is not about competing in a name game but about earning the trust of the people.
“As an applicant for this role, I will remain humble, present a solid plan, and serve with all my heart — if you accept me,” she concluded.
