Remember Freaky Friday (2003), the fun yet awkwardly relatable film about a mother and daughter swapping bodies? After years of speculation, Disney is finally delivering the sequel we’ve all been waiting for—Freakier Friday!
On 25 June 2024, Disney dropped a major bombshell on Instagram, posting a photo of Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan with the caption:
"The Colemans are back and coming to theaters in 2025! The sequel to Freaky Friday is now in production!"
Fans immediately flooded the comments with excitement, and now, eight months later, Disney has released the official trailer—sending nostalgia levels through the roof.
The Freakier Friday trailer is pure chaos in the best way possible. Packed with laugh-out-loud mix-ups, it teases a possible, even wilder body-swap adventure. But the biggest surprise? A brief appearance by Chad Michael Murray—looking just as charming (if not more!) than he did in the original.
