Michelle Dee embarks on music career with debut single 'Reyna'

After making waves in the pageant scene, Michelle Dee is now stepping into the music industry. The beauty queen and actress has officially released her debut single, "Reyna", under Star Music, marking her entry into Original Pilipino Music (OPM).

Known for her confidence and elegance on the pageant stage, Dee takes a bold step in music by exploring the dance-pop genre instead of the expected ballads. She believes this style best represents her artistic expression and allows her to connect with a wider audience.

With this new chapter, Dee has set her sights on exciting collaborations. She has expressed admiration for P-pop group BINI and dreams of working with international artists like Bruno Mars, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Shawn Mendes, Moira Dela Torre, and Juan Karlos.

Her passion for both acting and music has been present since childhood. Whether performing as a "shower singer" or embracing her love for acting, Dee has always found joy in creative expression. Now, she continues to explore different artistic avenues without choosing between the two.

Reyna was officially released on 7 March, just in time for Women’s History Month. The empowering anthem is now available on all digital streaming platforms, with its lyric video uploaded on Star Music’s official YouTube channel. The song was composed by Angelica Tagadtad and produced by Jonathan Manalo and Rox Santos.

Dee showcased her vocal talent in 2023 when she released a cover of "Try" on her YouTube channel. That same year, she secured a Top 10 finish in the Miss Universe pageant.

Her debut single Reyna is a collaboration between Star Music and GMA Music, marking a new milestone in her career.
