The Philippines will host the prestigious Miss Tourism International (MTI) pageant for the first time in November 2025.
The announcement was made during a press conference at CWC Design Center, where MTI president and owner Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi and Mutya ng Pilipinas (MNP) chairman Fred Yuson signed the agreement. MNP president Cory Quirino and reigning Miss Tourism International 2024, Lia Barrido, were also present.
Established in 1994, MTI is one of the most recognized tourism pageants globally. The 28th edition of the pageant will be held in Davao City, chosen for its vibrant tourism scene and the ongoing development of the Davao Global Township.
The event is expected to attract 45-50 delegates from around the world, showcasing the Philippines’ rich culture and tourism destinations to an international audience.
Both MTI and MNP aim to contribute to the Philippine government’s “Love the Philippines” campaign by promoting tourism and fostering international friendship through this prestigious pageant.
