The Philippine National Police (PNP) said it had received reports that Vice President Sara Duterte's supporters are being offered payment, transportation, and food allowance in exchange for showing up at the EDSA Shrine.
During a press briefing at Camp Crame, PNP spokesperson BGen. Jean Fajardo presented a video circulating online, showing the alleged hauling of supporters by Duterte’s camp to rally behind them.
“There are some videos na lumalabas (that are circulating), if I may share again na 'yung iba doon (some of them) allegedly were transported from their barangays papunta doon sa lugar (in going to the place),” Fajrdo told reporters.
Pinangakuan daw na babayaran sila at pakakainin (They were offered payment and food). It was documented, hindi ko alam kung sino nagpalabas nito (I’m not sure where this is from). We just want to share it with you,” Fajardo added.
